Job Overview: The Village of Ashcroft is currently seeking two (2) enthusiastic students for Parks Maintenance Positions in the Public Works Department during the summer of 2024. These union positions, affiliated with CUPE Local 900, will commence on May 1, 2024, and continue until Labour Day. Successful candidates will enjoy a competitive hourly wage of $23.14, along with an additional 4% in lieu of vacation and $1.25/hr in lieu of benefits (after completion of probationary period). The positions require a commitment to a 40-hour work week, scheduled from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
