The Wage Subsidy program matches WorkBC clients who require on-the-job training and work experience with employers who can offer support, supervision, and training to their new employee. The temporary subsidy covers a part of employee wages in exchange for coaching and on-the-job training.
If your certification is outdated or you don’t have any at all and you are having difficulty finding employment, you may be able to access financial supports to help with the cost of training.

If you would like to start a new business and meet eligibility requirements, you could be eligible for Self-Employment Services, delivered in partnership with WorkBC Employment Services.
The Survivors of Violence Counselling Program through Nicola Family Therapy is designed to provide counselling support and assistance to clients of WorkBC Employment Services who are survivors of violence and abuse.
