Ashcroft Terminal and the PSA Group are seeking a Shunt Truck Driver to join our growing team!

As the only private logistics terminal in Canada with CP & CN mainlines onsite, ATL is strategically located to help shippers, manufacturers, and producers prepare their commodities for export or import. As a member of PSA International, Ashcroft Terminal is part of a global network of supply chain professionals!

In the position of Shunt Truck Driver, the successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their designated locations on-site.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Safely operate and maneuver the shunt truck, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods to and from designated locations on site.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Communicate effectively with coordinators and team members to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.
• Perform general labour tasks to assist with site maintenance as required.

For success in this role, you must have:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract with no major violations.
• Experience in the transportation industry would be an asset.
• Forklift operations and/or heavy-duty machinery experience would be an asset.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated/self-directed, with an ability to work independently using sound judgment and initiative.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks.
