Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on kitchen management and food safety. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. Must have banquet and events experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Deliver and execute all banquets and events in a calm and orderly fashion.
- Able to run high volume events while maintaining a restaurant at the same time.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling food costs.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance guest satisfaction through culinary excellence.
- Manage all kitchen finances and cost control.
- Implement new cooking techniques and presentation styles to elevate the dining experience.
- Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Reports directly to F&B Director.
- All responsibilities include up to and not limited to any direction of the company.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience in team management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Executive Chef with banquet and events background.
- Red Seal preferred.
- Food Safe level 3 preferred.

Pay: $72,500.00-$80,000.00 per year
