Ashcroft Terminal and the PSA Group are seeking Cleaner/Custodian for our growing team!

As the only private logistics terminal in Canada with CP & CN mainlines onsite, ATL is strategically located to help shippers, manufacturers, and producers prepare their commodities for export or import. As a member of PSA International, Ashcroft Terminal is part of a global network of supply chain professionals!

In the position of Cleaner/Custodian, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties and ensuring the proper upkeep of facilities.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Keeping terminal office spaces and staff housing clean.
• General cleaning and housekeeping duties as required or directed by management.
• Cleaning offices, boardrooms, lunchrooms, washrooms, hallways, and other workspaces.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
• Keeping buildings free from indoor pests.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
• Performing minor repairs as needed.
• Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off and premises are secure after hours.
• Ensuring accurate record keeping of time spent related to ATL activities.
• Efficiently communicate with terminal management.

For success in this role, you must have:

• A valid class 5 BC Driver’s License.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong work ethic and initiative, self-motivated/self-directed, with the ability to work independently.
