Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or kitchen setting. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and safety. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and food handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
• Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or kitchen role.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
