Ashcroft Terminal and the PSA Group are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our growing team!
As the only private logistics terminal in Canada with CPKC & CN mainlines onsite, ATL is strategically located to help shippers, manufacturers, and producers prepare their commodities for export or import. As a member of PSA International, Ashcroft Terminal is part of a global network of supply chain professionals!
In the position of Administrative Coordinator, the successful candidate will support day-to-day administrative and accounting operations for the terminal.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Managing front-desk operations, including answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, and handling incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date filing systems, both digital and physical, to support operational efficiency.
- Supporting the day-to-day administrative needs of the office, including monitoring and ordering office supplies, and general upkeep.
- Preparing, updating, and maintaining internal tracking sheets, operational records, and administrative documentation.
- Assisting with health and safety program support, including tracking training records, inspection logs, and safety documentation.
- Preparing and distributing safety-related reports and coordinating follow-up on corrective actions.
- Coordinating interdepartmental safety communication and ensuring document control and compliance readiness.
- Supporting rail and scale documentation, including accurate data entry, reconciliation, and coordination with logistics staff.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, timely communication and support for operational needs.
- Providing coverage and continuity across multiple administrative functions as required.
For success in this role, you must have:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of office experience.
- Experience in logistics, transportation or dispatching is considered an asset.
