We are looking to expand our company services by offering terminal operations to our current clients. We are currently looking to fulfill several terminal operational positions within the province of British Columbia. These positions will provide future opportunities for growth and improvement within the company.

Job Description:
The terminal operator is responsible for the day-to-day safe operations of the terminal that includes, but is not limited to, trans loading gasoline commodities from rail car to tank or truck. Candidates will require to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communications skills.
Work Environment:
- Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility.
- Responsible for rail car offloading, tank monitoring and gauging, truck loading and blending of commodities.
- Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage, blending and transportation of gasoline while adhering to Measurement Canada compliance.
- Submitting and tracking bill of ladings, tank volumes, daily operational checklists, daily terminal checklists, safety documentation, and permitting.
- Participate in the Health & Safety Management Procedures, assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs and environment protection, while keeping in constant contact with clients.
- Performing preventative maintenance to ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe
- Working in a small team environment.
- Other general duties as assigned by manager.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent
- A strong work ethic and ability to work in small teams
- Ability to work outdoors at heights and in all weather environments
- Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) are all an asset. Alternatively, training will be provided to successful candidates.
- A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment.
- Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure clear communication with the rest of the team.
- Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- A valid and acceptable Driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
