District of Logan Lake
Nestled in the heart of Highland Valley, Logan Lake is a picturesque town with plenty of friendly people, lovely views, and outdoor activities in all directions. The Library is a friendly place for locals to gather and access information. In the summer it is also a hub for visitors from around the world who are camping at the lake in town or nearby Tunkwa Lake. A town that was created in the 1970’s to support the then Lornex and now Highland Valley Copper Mines, Logan Lake is now a sought-after community for both young families and retirees thanks to its strong community and ease of access to other major centers. This small town of approximately 2,300 residents sits 60 km south of Kamloops on the Coquihalla Highway and Highway 97D, 47 km northwest of Merritt on Highway 97C, and 40 km southwest of Ashcroft on Highway 97C.
