Live-In Ranch Hand / Farm & Property Worker

Location:

Kamloops, BC (40 km northwest) – On-site accommodation provided

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

$18.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience and skills)

Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated individual to help manage day-to-day operations on our historic ranch currently being rebuilt after wildfire. This is a hands-on, full-time live-in position.

Responsibilities:

Feeding and caring for cattle, sheep, chickens, and horses

Maintaining fences and ranch infrastructure

Operating tractors and UTVs

Irrigating and harvesting 60 acres of hay (2 cuts/year)

Managing a small orchard and general property mowing

Firewood collection, road maintenance, basic repairs and light construction

Daily inspections and problem-solving around the ranch

Qualifications:

Farm or ranch experience preferred

Able to work independently and take initiative

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

Comfortable using farm machinery and tools

Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Good English communication
