We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our established recipes and standards. This position requires a keen understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen team. Food safe is required or must be willing to get it in a timely manner. We are also happy to train the right person. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications.
• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but willing to train.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in the kitchen.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 38 per week
