HIRING: Summer Student Opportunity
Honour House Society, in partnership with the Government of Canada, is looking to hire a summer student as a Ranch Hand at Honour Ranch, in Ashcroft.
WHERE: Ashcroft, BC - *Accommodation may be provided for those applying outside the area.
ABOUT: Honour Ranch, located about 14 km up Highway 97C, towards Logan Lake, is looking for a summer student. Honour Ranch, operated by Honour House Society and provides mental health retreats for uniformed personnel.
This includes police, fire, military, paramedics, veterans etc.
THE JOB: We are looking for an ambitious worker for July and August
2025. Work will include painting, mowing, trimming and various ranch work. The job will appeal to those who enjoy the outdoors in a country setting. Applicants should be in good physical condition, enjoy working with their hands and be comfortable operating riding lawnmowers, weed whackers and small equipment. Tools and safety equipment will be supplied. A drivers licence and vehicle for transportation to the ranch would be an asset.
ELIGIBILITY: Funded by the Government of Canada Summer Jobs Program, applicants must be Canadian citizens between the ages of 16-30
TERM: JUNE 30 - AUGUST 29, 2025
RATE: $20.00 per hour/35 hours per week
