Position Overview:
The Front of House Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and patio areas. You will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for every guest. This role will work closely with the Chef and General Manager to maintain high service standards, improve workflows, and develop a motivated, guest-first team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily front-of-house operations with a hands-on, guest-first approach, setting the tone for exceptional service.
- Train, mentor, and manage FOH staff to uphold a culture of hospitality, accountability, and excellence.
- Create and manage staff schedules within budget guidelines to ensure efficient service coverage.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and seamless service flow.
- Oversee inventory management, including liquor control, ordering, and supplier coordination.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all food safety regulations.
- Professionally handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Assist in the development of the wine list and provide wine pairing recommendations (wine knowledge considered an asset).
- Work with the culinary team to support seasonal menu changes and introduce trend-forward offerings.
- Support financial goals by assisting with budgeting, cost control, and overall performance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or food & beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and professional growth.
- A guest-first mindset with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of front-of-house operations, food safety protocols, and service best practices.
- Experience with inventory control, staff scheduling, and POS/reporting systems.
- Ability to stay composed under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Wine knowledge or WSET Level 1 certification is considered an asset.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Opportunity to transition into a salaried position upon successful completion of the probation period. Discounted food while on shift and golf included.
