Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety. As a key part of our kitchen staff, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment while ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants eager to learn and grow within the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation guidelines
• Support food handling and safety protocols to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
• Serve customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude, providing excellent customer service
• Help with food assembly, plating, and packaging for dine-in or take-out orders
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements

• Prior experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and serving
• Experience as a barista or in the food industry is considered a plus
• Reliable team player with good communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate weights as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
