We are a family-owned and operated resort located on a world-class fishing lake. We take pride in creating a clean, classy, rustic retreat for both families and serious fishermen. Many of our guests feel like family and have been returning for decades with large groups. We work hard to maintain a fun, friendly, and respectful atmosphere for both our guests and our team.

This is an opportunity for one applicant. The successful candidate may choose to live on-site or commute.

Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation

General Duties Include:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the central unit
• Lawn care and general grounds maintenance (mowing, raking, clearing debris)
• Keeping roads, trails, and lawns clear of branches and obstacles
• Assisting with cabin cleaning, finishing touches, and restocking supplies
• Ensuring cabins are fully prepared prior to guest arrival
• Supporting guests during their stay and ensuring they have everything they need
• Replacing propane tanks and relighting appliances
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory (fuel, firewood, cleaning supplies, etc.)
• Watering flowers and maintaining overall property appearance
• Washing boats and monitoring proper use
• Keeping the boondock (employee housing/office) clean and operational
• Returning tools and equipment to proper storage locations
• Assisting in keeping the property safe from wildlife, including proper food management
• Performing minor mechanical repairs within your ability
• Maintaining pest-free cabins as much as possible

Additional Duties May Include:

• Firewood preparation (cutting, splitting, stacking)
• Basic plumbing repairs (larger jobs completed as a team)
• General maintenance (cupboards, doors, docks, flooring, etc.)
• Ice house duties (cutting, handling, and delivering ice with food safety in mind)
• Dock repair and seasonal setup/take-down (team-based for larger tasks)
• Cabin levelling using jacks and blocks
• Light carpentry (stairs, porches, general repairs while preserving aesthetics)
• Minor roof patching when needed
